Charlton Site (VIC)
Rivcow Environmental began operations at the Elders owned Charlton Feedlot in July 2006.
The Charlton Feedlot is ideally located in central Victoria, approximately 230 kms North of Melbourne on the Calder Highway. This makes for close proximity for service to Victoria and Southern NSW.
Product from the Charlton site is composted and screened at 22mm to give the highest quality composted cow manure available in Victoria. We use state of the art processing equipment, unique to our composting methods, giving our product the highest level of consistency. Our quality control guidelines ensure that the raw manure must be composted for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Random samples are taken for full chemical analysis at an independent Laboratory. All cow manure is composted to Australian Standards 4454.
Rivcow Composted Cow Manure from the Charlton site is currently used extensively on the following crops:
